I recently stayed at Hotel Guru Kripa during my visit to Ujjain, and overall, it was a comfortable and convenient experience.
The biggest plus is the location — it's right opposite the Ujjain Railway Station and just a short distance from Mahakaleshwar Temple, which made getting around really easy. The area also has plenty of shops and eateries nearby, which was very convenient.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with basic amenities like AC, hot water, and Wi-Fi working properly. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the prompt room service whenever I needed anything.
The staff was polite and helpful, especially at the reception — they were quick with check-in and gave good local recommendations.

This is an excellent hotel located very close to the Mahakal Temple. The property was very clean, and the staff were consistently supportive throughout our stay. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating, which made our experience even more pleasant.

I had a bit of a different requirement as I only needed the room for a few hours before my train.
Usually, in most places I’ve travelled, hotels charge full day amount even for short stays… which feels unfair.
But here, they were very reasonable and charged only for the time I stayed.
That honesty really stood out to me.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Gurukripa, Ujjain. The location is excellent — very close to the railway station, Mahakal Lok, and Mahakaleshwar Temple. The rooms were clean, airy, and well-ventilated with plenty of sunlight. All basic amenities like AC, hot water, Wi-Fi, and room service worked perfectly.
The hotel is run by an Army-retired owner, which adds a great sense of safety and discipline. Parking is available right next to the hotel, making it very secure. The housekeeping staff was professional, responsive, and available 24/7 for any need.
Room service was prompt, and food, tea, and coffee were delivered to the room whenever required. The surrounding area also has many shops and eateries, which was very convenient.
The reception staff was polite, quick with check-in, and even shared useful local recommendations. They also provide reliable taxi services to Omkareshwar and nearby attractions at good rates.
Overall, it was a safe, comfortable, and value-for-money experience. Highly recommend Hotel Gurukripa for families, solo travelers, and anyone visiting Ujjain for darshan at Mahakal.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Gurukripa. From the moment I arrived, the front‑desk team greeted me warmly and handled my early check‑in smoothly—no delays, no fuss. My room was immaculate: spacious with modern decor and the most important thing is was very clean. The property was very close to main attractions as well as to the Ujjain railway station.

One thing I really liked here was their flexibility with timing. They didn’t charge anything extra for early check-in, which I’ve hardly seen anywhere else.
Also, if you’re not staying for the full next day, they don’t charge the complete day amount unnecessarily.
Overall, a very fair and comfortable stay with clean rooms and good service.

Gurukrupa Hotel, Ujjain is a very nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is polite and cooperative, and the atmosphere is peaceful. Location is good with easy access to Mahakal temple. Overall a pleasant and satisfying experience. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 and a half day. The owner took only 50% room rent on our 3rd day which was very helpful for us. Highly recommended as the owner is army veteran and give least priority to price as compared to other hotels which are mainly focusing on money and give no facilities.

Nice and clean rooms. Staff was really good. Cleaning guys were awesome and kind . I would recommend the stay at gurukrupa hotel. They have restaurant as well right beside so it is easy to manage food. Tea was awesome made by subhash rathod.
